Situated with easy access to many kilometres of Portugals forest tracks we welcome visitors of all off roading skill levels, either bringing their own vehicles or using our landrover or rangerover. Alternatively, walking, cycling, climbing, kyaking can all be enjoyed here.
All our bed and breakfast accommodation has ensuite facilities , large rooms and comfortable communal areas.
For the serious enthusiasts among you we are within 45 mins of the Lousa Challenge which takes place in April each year.
You don’t have to be an experienced off roader to enjoy this holiday. The trackways driving standards range from just-off-tarmac-road country driving, through greeenlaning standard into rutted and steep as well as the ultimate serious off roading holiday challenge with steep climbs and river crossings.
Many of the smaller villages are only accessible by roads of a greenlaning standard, which makes exploring the countryside far more exciting than anything the UK can offer.
The village of Carapinha offers a locally renowned restaurant serving traditional Portuguese food at very reasonable prices., while the nearby town of Arganil being 10 minutes drive supports cafes and restaurants, a library, camara (town hall) Bombeiros (firestation) , correios (post office) , with both an ecomarche and Lidl supermarket.
